Florida dog bite law in Seminole
Florida law decides a Seminole claim, not a city rule: the owner pays for a first bite in public or where you were lawfully. See Fla. Stat. 767.04.
Fla. Stat. 95.11(5)(a) gives you 2 years to file. Talks with the insurer do not pause that clock.
One more Florida rule to know. "Bad Dog" sign: no defense if child under 6 (Fla. Stat. 767.04).
